Applying for our directory
Our mission is to provide a collection of local, recommended, safe and reliable businesses who share our ethos of improving the health and wellness of the women of Plymouth. In order to ensure we have the best quality recommendations, we have a few requirements to make sure we're keeping standards high and providing a safe space for women.
Our requirements
1. The directory is for local businesses based in Plymouth and the surrounding areas only
2. The directory is for women's health and wellness services so this may not apply to traditional beauty/aesthetic services, services for babies/children or products for sale (unless they have a specific health benefit). This is just to ensure we don't lose the focus of women's health, however you may still be able to take part in our events so get in touch if you are interested in getting involved in another way
3. Those who specialise is women's health will require specific qualifications/training to ensure they are providing up to date and accurate advice
4. We may refer to Google reviews or testimonials on your website and social media pages to confirm that you are an established business appropriate for the directory. This may mean that an application for a brand new business won't be accepted but you're welcome to apply again once you have some reviews or testimonials
5. The success of an application is subject to review by Female Headquarters to ensure that is aligns with our ethos and values so we can ensure we are creating a safe and supportive community for everyone
Terms and conditions
1. The free trial of featuring on the directory last until 1st May 2025 with no obligation to commit to paying for it thereafter
2. You are responsible for keeping us up to date with any changes to your directory entry i.e. schedule changes, web address changes. Please use the contact for to do this
3. Female Headquarters retains the right to remove you from the directory without notice should we feel your business is promoting something unsafe or that lies outside of our ethical values
4. Should you wish to be removed from the directory at any time, please get in touch via the contact form and you will be removed as soon as possible
5. Your data will be collected and stored within GDPR policy and will not be shared with any third parties
